Can one upload a cdr (not via FTP/SFTP)

Can one manually upload a CDR fire to a correctly defined input processor?
It seems that one can only import CDRs via automated FTP ‘fetch’

Currently, CDRs can be import put by ftp/sftp (files) or API (realtime).
